Setting Up Your Account

Configure your Caska account with company details, unit preferences, timezone, and key settings that apply across every module.

When you first sign in to Caska, a short onboarding flow walks you through the core configuration. These settings apply account-wide, so it's worth getting them right before you start adding data.

Enter your company information

Provide your business name and basic details. This appears on orders and exported documents.

Choose your plan

Select the plan that fits your current needs. You can upgrade or downgrade at any time from Settings → Billing.

Configure company settings

These preferences apply across every module:

  • Unit system — Imperial or metric. Affects how weights and measurements display throughout the app.
  • Date format — Choose your preferred date display format.
  • Timezone — Used for scheduled notifications and report date groupings.
  • Week starts on — Sunday or Monday. Affects timesheet pay period calculations.

Set your timezone accurately. Notification alerts fire at 8 AM in your configured timezone — a wrong setting means alerts arrive at the wrong time.

Verify your email

Check your inbox and click the verification link. Caska requires a verified email before you can log in.

After setup

Once you're in, a few things worth doing right away:

  • Invite your team — Go to Settings → Team to add employees or admins. See Inviting Your Team.
  • Add your first customer — Head to Customers and create your first account.
  • Set up your product catalogue — Go to Products and add your products, including pricing and recipe details.
  • Configure notifications — Go to Settings → Notifications to set up low stock alerts and timesheet reminders.

Need to change any of these settings later? Go to Settings → Account at any time.
