Account Security
Manage your Caska account password, set up two-factor authentication, and understand how suspicious sign-in detection works.
Changing your password
Go to Settings → Account → Password
Find the Password section under Account settings.
Enter your current and new password
Enter your current password, then enter and confirm your new one.
Save
Your password is updated immediately.
If you've forgotten your password, use the Forgot Password link on the login screen to receive a reset email.
Two-factor authentication (2FA)
Two-factor authentication requires a verification code in addition to your password when signing in from a new device.
Enabling 2FA
Go to Settings → Account → Security
Find the Security section under Account settings.
Click Enable Two-Factor Authentication
You'll need an authenticator app on your phone (Google Authenticator, Authy, or similar).
Scan the QR code and verify
Scan with your authenticator app and enter the verification code to confirm setup.
Save your backup codes
Store these in a secure location. They're your recovery option if you lose access to your authenticator app.
Disabling 2FA
Go to Settings → Account → Security and click Disable Two-Factor Authentication. You'll need to verify with your current 2FA code to confirm.
Suspicious sign-in detection
Caska monitors for unusual login activity. If a sign-in looks suspicious (new device, new location, new browser simultaneously), you may be asked to verify via a magic link sent to your email.
This is normal behavior on first login from a new browser or device. The magic link email arrives within a few minutes.
API Keys
If your plan includes API access, manage API keys under Settings → API Keys. API access is available to users with Developer permissions — contact your account Owner to enable it.
