Notification Alerts
Configure scheduled email alerts in Caska for low inventory stock, low product stock, price reminders, and timesheet activity — set per user.
Caska can send you scheduled email alerts for low stock, price reminders, and timesheet activity. Notifications are configured per user, so each team member can set their own preferences.
Go to Settings → Notifications to configure.
Available alerts
Inventory low stock
Get notified when an inventory item's stock drops below a threshold. Set the threshold on each inventory item individually, then configure the notification frequency here: daily, weekly, or only on first drop below threshold.
Product low stock
Same as above, but for finished product stock levels. Useful if you track finished goods inventory alongside raw materials.
Price reminder
A periodic prompt to review your product pricing — monthly or quarterly. Useful for catching cost drift before it eats into your margins.
Timesheet reminders
- Employee reminder — notifies employees to log their hours before the pay period closes
- Admin summary — sends admins a summary of incomplete timesheet entries at the end of a pay period
How alerts are delivered
Alerts are sent by email to the address on your Caska account.
Alerts fire at 8 AM in your account's configured timezone. If you're not receiving alerts at the expected time, check that your timezone is set correctly under Settings → Account.
Turning off alerts
Set the frequency to Off for any alert type you don't want to receive.
