Inventory Categories
Organize your raw materials and supplies using categories like Dry Ingredients, Packaging, or Flavourings for easier filtering and management.
Categories let you organize your raw materials by type — for example, Dry Ingredients, Packaging, Flavourings, or Oils.
Setting up categories
Go to Settings → Inventory
Find the Inventory section in your account settings.
Add a category
Under Categories, click Add Category, enter a name, and save.
Assigning categories
When creating or editing an inventory item, select a category from the dropdown.
Filtering by category
Use the column controls on the Inventory list to filter down to a specific category.
Inventory categories are configured separately from Product and Customer categories.
