Managing Fundraisers
Track fundraising campaigns in Caska — log paper and online sales, calculate earnings owed to the organization, and maintain a historical archive.
The Fundraisers module lets you track fundraising campaigns — typically school or community fundraisers where your products are sold on behalf of an organization.
Creating a fundraiser
Go to Fundraisers and click New Fundraiser
Click Fundraisers in the main navigation, then New Fundraiser.
Fill in the campaign details
- Fundraiser name (required)
- Linked customer (the organization running the fundraiser)
- Start and end dates
- Sales channels (paper order forms, online, etc.)
- Commission/earnings percentage
Save
Click Save to create the campaign record.
Tracking sales
As the fundraiser runs, update the sales figures on the fundraiser record:
- Paper sales — revenue collected from physical order forms
- Online sales — revenue from online orders
- Expenses — shipping costs and other costs
How earnings are calculated
Caska automatically calculates two figures:
- Earnings paid — the amount you owe the fundraising organization:
Total Revenue − Paper Sales − Shipping Cost - Net revenue — your take after all costs (display only, not editable)
These fields are calculated automatically — you don't enter them manually. Just keep your sales and expense figures up to date.
Archiving a fundraiser
When a campaign is complete, archive it to move it out of your active list. Go to the Archive tab to view all historical fundraiser records.
